YouTube Embedded Privator does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, browsing history, or website content.

Data we store

The only data stored is the list of user-defined exclude URL patterns. This data is kept locally in the browser via chrome.storage (and may sync via Chrome Sync if the user enabled it) and is never sent to any server. We do not share data with any third parties.

• No analytics or tracking
• No advertising IDs
• No cookies created by the extension
• No remote code execution

Purpose limitation

All processing is strictly limited to modifying embedded YouTube iframe URLs on pages you visit, in order to reduce exposure of personalized recommendations after playback.

Data retention & control

Exclude patterns remain stored locally until you remove them or uninstall the extension. You can clear them anytime from the extension’s Options page or by clearing Chrome Sync data (if you use it).

Children’s privacy

This extension is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and in the repository’s PRIVACY.md.
